Itinerary
- Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Your hotel pickup happens early morning, then you're driven out to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The morning and early afternoon involve searching for lions, cheetahs, and leopards from your vehicle, and you'll stop for lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site where you can relax and watch wildlife come down to drink. After lunch, more game driving continues through the park before heading back to your lodge by evening for dinner.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll spend about 6 hours driving to Serengeti National Park. The route takes you through the Ngorongoro Crater area with a stop to look down into the crater itself. By late afternoon you'll arrive in Seronera, and from there you get out for an evening game drive to catch the Serengeti sunset. Then it's back to your accommodation for the night.

- Day 3
Serengeti National Park
You're up early for breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive while the light is still fresh. The full day involves driving through the Serengeti looking for wildlife across the massive park. By late afternoon you return to your lodge where you can rest and have dinner.

- Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Following breakfast, you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend down into the crater floor, which puts you right among the wildlife including black rhinos. The crater's natural bowl shape makes spotting animals pretty straightforward. Lunch happens somewhere on the crater floor, then you continue game driving before climbing back up the crater rim and heading to your lodge for dinner and the night.

- Day 5
Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast you head to Lake Manyara National Park, where the big draw is seeing tree-climbing lions and watching the flamingoes along the lake. Your game drive covers the park from multiple angles, so you'll see buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, various birds, and monkeys. There's a stop at the hippo pool for a closer look at the animals in the water. By evening you drive to Arusha for your overnight stay.

- Day 6
Materuni Village and Mount Kilimanjaro
You spend the day in Materuni with the local Chagga tribe. There's a roughly 40-minute walk out to the waterfalls where you can swim in the pool at the base if you want. During your time there you learn how they live, try their traditional lunch, and taste local banana beer. After seeing how coffee grows on the slopes and helping with the traditional grinding process by hand, you'll be driven to the airport based on what time your flight leaves.
