Meknes to Chefchaouen
Early morning pickup from your hotel in Meknes gets you on the road into the Rif Mountains, a drive that takes about 4 hours to reach Chefchaouen. This mountain town is known for its blue-painted buildings and winding streets built into the hillside, so you'll spend time walking through the old city and getting oriented. The Kasabah fortress and Ras El Maa river valley are on your list to check out, and if you're up for it, there's a 30-minute hike to the Spanish Mosque. After you've had enough time exploring, you'll head back down the mountain to Meknes for your hotel drop-off.
