- Ken· May 27th, 2025Hard to fault the experience. Excellent itinerary. Only slight criticism was that first day on safari (Arusha-Tarangire-Lake Manyara Serena Lodge seemed very long. Maybe an overnight stop near Tarangire would have worked better. Could also have spent a full day in Ngorongoro Crater and returned to Arusha the following day for flight to Zanzibar. Anton our safari guide was tremendous - very knowledgeable and an extremely safe driver. We would have missed 80% of the wildlife without him. Always willing to help and to explain the environment. Medison, our guide, was very knowledgeable and brought us on Game Drives across 4 different parks, allowing us to see all the wildlife (not just the Big Five). Accommodation was clean, comfortable and very high-level, with luxury-tents in Serengeti and great Lodges in the other locations. Our stay in Zanzibar was relaxed and well taken care of.
