Your first day in Paris is yours to do what you want before heading to the ship. You can shop, take walks through the neighborhoods, or find a café for a croissant and coffee. By 5 pm you'll board your suite ship and set out on an evening cruise toward Vernon.

Vernon to Les Andelys
You have choices for the morning: see Vernon's Chateau des Tourelles, wander through Giverny's gardens (which inspired Claude Monet), or check out the impressive Bizy Castle. After lunch onboard featuring crepes and a history talk, you'll cruise to Les Andelys. There you can explore the Chateau Gaillard ruins or take a walking tour of the town. Entertainment happens onboard this evening.

In the afternoon, you can optionally visit Honfleur, an old seaside town. A history expert gives a WWII lecture onboard this evening, and you'll stay overnight in Caudebec.

Afterward you'll cruise to Rouen for the evening.

An onboard history lecture takes place in the afternoon. You'll cruise to Conflans in the evening.

Live entertainment happens this evening as you dock overnight in Pauillac.

Later you'll sail briefly to Blaye for an overnight dock.

In the afternoon you'll sail the Dordogne River to Bourg and can choose a walking tour of Bourg's Citadel and carriage museum, or an optional guided trip to learn how Cognac is made at Remy Martin.
