You'll arrive in Marseille and need to get to Arles by mid-afternoon. Your Suite Ship boards at 5 pm, so there's time to settle into your cabin, freshen up, and grab dinner onboard before the river cruise begins.

Arles to Avignon
After breakfast, pick one of three activities: join an early morning power walk through Arles, take a painting workshop focusing on Van Gogh's methods, or do a guided walking tour of the Roman Amphitheater. You'll have free time to stop by Le Café Van Gogh for wine, then the ship sails toward Avignon by evening.

Viviers to Tain l'Hermitage
The ship sails leisurely to Viviers. You can hike up to the Romanesque cathedral, take a guided walking tour of the old pale-stone buildings and Old Town, or do both. Later there's a tasting of local specialties onboard, then the ship cruises to Tain l'Hermitage overnight.

Lyon to Tournus

There, hike to Château Gaillard or walk around town, then head back to the ship for evening entertainment before cruising to Caudebec.

A guided sightseeing tour covers London's iconic sites. You'll pass the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Downing Street, and Buckingham Palace before stopping at Piccadilly Circus. St. Paul's Cathedral is next (closed Sundays), where you'll see Christopher Wren's masterpiece with its famous dome.
