You'll fly into Marseille and head to Arles where your river ship is docked. Get on board by 5 pm, settle into your suite, and have dinner with the other passengers while you get oriented to the ship and meet people.

Arles to Avignon
Pick one of three activities this morning: take a power walk, join a painting workshop focused on Van Gogh's techniques, or do a guided walking tour that includes the Roman Amphitheater. Later you'll have time at Le Café Van Gogh to grab wine and relax before the ship sails to Avignon in the evening.

Avignon

The evening brings live entertainment on the ship.

The morning offers a relaxed sail to Viviers. You'll either join a guided walking tour of this pale-stone village with its Romanesque cathedral and Old Town, or hike up to the hilltop Cathedral with your Adventure Host. Later, taste local specialties onboard and then sail to Tain-l'Hermitage.

You'll have free time to bike through town squares before sailing to Tournus with live entertainment.
