You arrive in Prague and have the full day to yourself. Wander through this historic city at whatever pace feels right, or head into the countryside surrounding it. There's no set itinerary here, so you can check out neighborhoods that interest you, grab lunch wherever looks good, and just get a feel for the place.

Prague
A guided walk takes you through Prague's main highlights this morning. You'll see Hradcany Castle Grounds and St. Vitus Cathedral, then walk across Charles Bridge with all its statues and ornate stone work. Later, swing by Wenceslas Square to catch street performers and soak in the energy. Stop for traditional plum dumplings and a cold Pilsner lager, and don't miss the famous Astronomical Clock in the Old Town.

Prague to Regensburg to Vilshofen
After breakfast, you drive to Regensburg for a guided walk through the medieval streets. See the Old Town Hall and Porta Pretoria, the 179 AD entrance to the old fortress. Grab lunch and a local beer during free time, then explore more of the historic lanes. Later you head to Vilshofen to board your Avalon Suite Ship, settle into your cabin with a welcome reception, and cruise toward Passau by evening.

You sail to Bratislava overnight.
