- Day 1
San Francisco
You'll arrive in San Francisco this afternoon. Your tour director will be on hand later to help with any questions about what's ahead on your trip.

San Francisco
The day starts with a sightseeing tour hitting the Golden Gate Bridge, Nob Hill, Chinatown, and Fisherman's Wharf. After that, your afternoon is free to do what you want. There's an optional cable-car ride, Golden Gate Park, or Alcatraz Island Prison tour if you're interested. You can also bike across the Golden Gate Bridge by pedal or e-bike, grab food in Sausalito, and return by ferry to Fisherman's Wharf.

San Francisco to Yosemite
You'll head east through California's Central Valley and enter Yosemite National Park. The landscape shifts to soaring granite peaks, towering pinnacles, and cascading waterfalls surrounded by lush forests. You'll see El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, and Half Dome. That evening you stay in nearby Oakhurst.

Yosemite to Monterey
Back into Yosemite to see the giant sequoias, then head west toward the coast. You'll arrive in Monterey by late afternoon. Walk through Old Fisherman's Wharf to look for sea lions and otters, then check out Cannery Row, made famous by John Steinbeck's novel. There's an optional sunset whale watching cruise available if you want to spot humpbacks, other whales, and dolphins.

Monterey to Pismo Beach
Start with the 17-Mile Drive, which follows the rugged Pacific coastline. You'll pass the iconic Lone Cypress, Pebble Beach, and its famous golf course. Then you arrive in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a village with pine forests and coastal views. From there, you'll drive through Big Sur with redwood forests and the Pacific Ocean below. You'll stay overnight in Pismo Beach.

Pismo Beach to Los Angeles
Continue south and stop in Solvang, where Danish architecture and windmills dot the town. Walk through the flower-lined streets and grab a treat from a Danish bakery. Later you arrive in Santa Barbara with its Spanish-style buildings and Mediterranean feel. Stroll the pier or shop before heading to Los Angeles by late afternoon.

- Day 7
Los Angeles
Your day includes a tour of Hollywood, starting with the TCL Chinese Theatre and Dolby Theatre. You'll see the Hollywood Walk of Fame and its thousands of stars. From there, head to Santa Monica Pier and the beach. The rest of the day is yours to spend freely. There's an optional Academy Museum of Motion Pictures visit available if film history interests you.

Los Angeles to San Diego
Head south toward San Diego, stopping at Mission San Juan Capistrano on the way. This historic mission, founded over 200 years ago, reflects California's multi-cultural history. After you arrive in San Diego, there's a city tour that includes the Hotel Coronado, famous from films like Some Like it Hot. Later you have the evening free to explore downtown's dining and entertainment options.

- Day 9
San Diego
The day is yours to explore San Diego at your own pace. The town is very walkable and known for its great weather. You can bike along the waterfront or take a harbor cruise. There's also an optional San Diego Zoo visit available if you want to see over 3,700 rare and endangered animals.

San Diego to Los Angeles
You have the morning to relax before heading back to Los Angeles. On the way, you'll stop in Dana Point, a coastal town with beautiful ocean views. After that, you arrive at Los Angeles International Airport where your trip ends.
