Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape Town to Little Karoo
You'll depart Cape Town and head along Route 62, which winds through mountain passes and country towns with vineyard valleys appearing along the way. The drive takes you into the Little Karoo region where you'll explore the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn, walking through impressive stalactites and caverns underground. Later that evening, you'll check in at De Opstal Country Lodge and have a traditional Karoo-style dinner.

Little Karoo to Tsitsikamma
This morning starts early for a meerkat adventure where you'll watch these creatures emerge at sunrise. After that, you'll visit one of Oudtshoorn's famous ostrich farms to learn about the region's farming heritage and practices. Following lunch, the drive takes you through farmlands and small towns as the landscape shifts toward the lush coastline, and you'll arrive in Tsitsikamma on the Garden Route by evening.

Tsitsikamma
You'll spend the day in Tsitsikamma National Park with a guided walk out to Storms River Mouth, crossing the suspension bridges over turquoise waters. The park has a restaurant where you can grab lunch with panoramic ocean views, or if you prefer, you can wander through the peaceful forest setting at your own pace during the afternoon and evening hours.

Traveling along the Garden Route coast, you'll stop in the seaside town of Plettenberg Bay for beach walks and wildlife viewing. From there, you'll continue to Knysna, a charming lagoon town surrounded by emerald forests and dramatic cliffs. In the afternoon, you can take a leisurely cruise on the Knysna Lagoon or walk through the waterfront exploring boutiques and cafes at your leisure.
