Ahmedabad
You'll arrive in Ahmedabad and get settled at your hotel. From there, a guided tour takes you through the city's historical sites, starting with Gandhi Ashram where you can learn about the independence movement. Then you'll move through Sidi Sayed Mosque and Jumma Masjid, both significant architectural landmarks. The Teen Darwaja gateway shows off traditional design, and you'll also check out Hutheesingh Jain Temple, Adalaj Step-well (a fascinating water structure), and Akshardham Temple, which showcases intricate religious architecture.

Patan
You're heading out on a day trip to Modhera and Patan. The Sun Temple in Modhera dates back to 1026 A.D. and demonstrates the skill of Indian builders from that period. After exploring there, you'll drive to Patan where local artisans still produce famous patola silk saris. You can walk through Jain temples, see carved wooden houses throughout the town, and visit Rani ki Vav, a step-well known for its intricate stone carvings and craftsmanship.

Statue of Unity
The drive to Statue of Unity takes you to one of the region's major attractions. You'll access the viewing gallery for wide vistas, check out the exhibition and audio visual displays, and walk through Valley of Flowers. Before evening, you can visit the Sardar Sarovar Dam viewpoint. As the sun sets, the laser show at the statue becomes the highlight, and then you'll head to Kevadiya for the night.

You'll overnight in Vadodara.

Diu

Sasan Gir
You'll drive to Sasan Gir Lion Sanctuary, a 560-square-mile protected area. About 300 Asiatic lions live here in their natural state, and you can also see leopards, sambar deer, chital spotted deer, and nilgai antelope. The sanctuary has abundant bird species too, making it great for wildlife viewing. You'll explore the sanctuary and then settle in for the night at Sasan Gir.

- Day 8
Somnath
You're driving to Somnath with a stop for a Gir Jungle trail walk. After checking into your hotel, you'll visit Bhalka Tirth Temple. The evening brings you to Somnath Jyotirling, one of twelve important Shiva shrines, where you'll attend the Aarti ceremony. Later, the Light and Sound Show at the temple tells stories of the region's history and spiritual significance. You'll spend the night in Somnath.

Dwarka
You're heading to Porabandar to visit Kirti Temple, which houses the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. You can see Gandhi's house and learn about his early life, plus visit the house of Kasturba, his wife, and the Gandhi Museum. There's also a study room within Kirti Temple and the separate Sudama Temple to see. Later, you'll drive to Dwarka to visit Lord Dwarkadhish Temple and catch the evening Aarti ceremony. Overnight is in Dwarka.

- Day 10
Dwarka
After breakfast, you'll head to Okha port for a short boat ride out to Bet Dwarka, an island surrounded by sea. Nageshwar Temple (also called Nagnath Temple) is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and you'll spend time there. Rukmini Temple dates back to the 12th or 13th century, and you can also visit Gopi Talav, where Krishna is said to have played. You'll return to Dwarka for another night.

Dhordo Rann Utsav
You'll check in to your Rann Utsav accommodation around noon. Lunch comes at the dining area, then you have free time for afternoon shopping and adventure activities.
