Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Delhi and the itinerary kicks off with stops at Jama Mosque and Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi's memorial sits. From there you'll head to Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb, both significant historical sites in the city. India Gate rounds out the morning exploration. After seeing these landmarks, you'll travel to Jaipur and check into your hotel for the night, roughly 5 hours by car.

Jaipur
After breakfast, you get to ride elephants up to Amber Fort where your guide walks you through its layers of history and architecture. City Palace comes next, combining Rajasthani and Mughal design with displays of textiles, costumes, and armor throughout the rooms. Hawa Mahal, the distinctive pink-windowed palace, is a quick visit, followed by Jantar Mantar, the old astronomical observation site. You'll stay in Jaipur overnight after taking in all four major spots.

Jaipur to Jodhpur
After breakfast you're heading to Jodhpur, about a 5-hour drive across Rajasthan. Once you arrive and get settled at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to wander around on your own pace. Some travelers grab lunch at a local restaurant, walk through the old blue city streets, or simply rest after the road.

Jodhpur to Rohet Garh/Chanwa Fort
After breakfast, your guide takes you through Jodhpur starting with Mehrangarh Fort, where you'll notice the intricate latticed windows carved into the sandstone. Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph, is nearby and worth seeing. Then you're off to Rohet Garh or Chanwa Fort for an overnight royal experience. There's a cattle safari through local villages plus cultural activities in the evening, with lunch and dinner both provided at the fort.

- Day 5
Rohet Garh/Chanwa Fort to Sardargarh/Deogarh Mahal
After breakfast, you drive to either Sardargarh or Deogarh Mahal, both set in the Chuppun mountains surrounded by forest. Staying at one of these forts gives you that royal treatment for the night. The fort organizes an evening walk through the surrounding village and hosts cultural activities so you can interact with locals and learn about the area. Lunch and dinner are served at the fort.

Sardargarh/Deogarh Mahal to Udaipur
After breakfast, the drive to Udaipur takes most of the day, about 6 to 7 hours depending on traffic and stops. You'll check in at your hotel and have the afternoon and evening free to explore this lakeside city at your own pace. Many travelers take a walk along the ghats or grab dinner with views of the water.

Udaipur
Your day in Udaipur starts at Sahelion-Ki-Bari, where you can walk through the lawns and shaded pathways. Next is the Museum of Folk Art, showing traditional clothing, jewelry, puppets, and paintings from the region. City Palace, India's largest, features peacock mosaics and tiny wall paintings throughout. Stop at a painting school to watch artists work on miniature paintings in real time. The day ends with a boat ride across Lake Pichola, passing by the Lake Palace on the water.

Udaipur to Pushkar
From Udaipur you're driving to Pushkar, known for its yearly Cattle Fair each November and its role as a pilgrimage site for Hindus. Once you check into your hotel, you'll explore the old temples scattered around town and walk down to the ghats along the sacred lake. It's a spiritual place with plenty of temples and local shops to wander through.

- Day 9
Pushkar to Ranthambore
You'll drive from Pushkar to Ranthambore National Park and get checked in at your hotel. After settling in, you head out on an afternoon safari through the park in an open jeep or canter vehicle. The park is home to hyenas, cheetahs, jungle cats, and panthers, and if the timing is right, you might spot an Indian tiger. The afternoon light is good for photography and wildlife spotting.

Ranthambore to Agra
After breakfast you're driving to Agra, about 4 to 5 hours from Ranthambore depending on traffic. The city sits on the Yamuna River and is home to India's most visited monument. You'll check into your hotel and settle in for the evening.

Agra to Delhi
After breakfast your guide takes you to the Taj Mahal to spend time really looking at its marble inlay work and proportions, one of the world's most recognizable buildings. Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone Mughal fortress from 1565, is next on the itinerary. Then it's on to Itmad-ud-Daulah, the first all-marble tomb in India with views of the river. Mehtab Bagh, a series of 11 parks on the east bank of the Yamuna, wraps up sightseeing. Later you drive back to Delhi, about 3 hours, and either check into your hotel or get dropped at the airport.
