Kathmandu to Pokhara
You'll travel along the Prithvi Highway from Kathmandu toward Pokhara, watching the scenery transform from city chaos into quiet countryside as you approach the Annapurna region. Once you check in at your hotel, you'll have views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail peak) in front of you. If you arrive with daylight left, take a walk around Fewa Lake or just settle in and relax after the drive.

- Day 2
Pokhara to Tadapani
A 4WD jeep takes you out from Pokhara through villages and terraced fields toward Ghandruk, a substantial Gurung settlement with traditional stone houses and colorful prayer flags strung throughout. You'll learn about how the Gurung people live and what their culture centers on. After that, the route continues to Tadapani, positioned on a ridge with views of the Annapurna peaks all around. You'll stay at a guesthouse there and have a local dinner.

Tadapani to Ghorepani
After breakfast, you'll trek (no jeep today) for roughly 4 to 5 hours up to Ghorepani, a place known for its sunrise views. The path goes through cool mountain air and quiet forests. Once there, check into a tea-house or guesthouse, have a local meal, and as night falls, you can chat with other travelers while looking up at stars hanging above the Annapurna peaks.

Landmarks Ghorepani Village Annapurna Range - Day 4
Poon Hill - Banthanti
Get up before sunrise and head out by jeep to your hiking start point, then trek for about 2 hours on a moderate route to reach Poon Hill at 3,210 meters. From the top, watch sunrise paint colors across the sky as the Annapurna range turns golden, including Fishtail peak. After coming back down to Ghorepani for a full breakfast, you'll trek to Banthanti in the pine forests, then take a jeep back to Pokhara for the 3 to 4 hour drive.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Your jeep journey from Pokhara back to Kathmandu covers about 200 kilometers and takes 6 to 8 hours, winding through valleys, along rivers, and past terraced hillsides with traditional villages. You'll see the Himalayan range including Annapurna and Manaslu peaks, plus scenes of rural Nepal life. The route can go direct or detour to places like Bandipur or the Trishuli River if you want. The trip ends with a farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
