Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll arrive in Vietnam and meet your private driver at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. After getting settled, spend the rest of the day walking through Hanoi's historic streets on your own. You'll see the local architecture and check out the shops and street life, then head back to rest up for the days ahead.

- Day 2
Ba Vi Eco Tour
Pick up starts at 07:30 for a private transfer to Ba Vi. You'll visit three villages to experience real Vietnamese countryside life, learning how to pick tea from 30-year-old tea trees and joining Mrs. Chin for a cooking lesson in her garden where you'll have lunch. Stop by local workshops for tofu-making and rice processing, then relax with an herb foot soak at Mr. Chau's house. The day wraps up with a scenic boat trip on the Da river before returning to Hanoi around 18:30.

Hanoi to Sapa
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll check out and head to a limousine bus heading to Sapa, which takes about 6 hours. Once you arrive, transfer to your accommodation and settle in. You'll have the rest of the day free to walk around this charming mountain town at your own pace.

- Day 4
Sapa Trekking to Ta Van Village
Following breakfast, you'll meet your guide at 09:30 to start a 12 km trek through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages where Hmong minorities live. The walk takes you through rice terraces and mountain scenery. Lunch happens in Lao Chai village right by the river, then you'll continue hiking to Ta Van village where the Dzay people live. You'll spend the night there, getting a feel for daily life and local customs.

Ta Van to Sapa to Hanoi
Start with breakfast and trek toward Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dao minority. You'll walk through a bamboo forest in Hoang Lien National Park, pass by a waterfall and rattan bridge with time to take in the views. Lunch comes at a scenic spot, then after that you'll head to Su Pan village. From there it's a drive back to Sapa and the limousine bus return to Hanoi.

Hanoi to Halong Bay Cruise
After breakfast, you'll be picked up for the scenic drive to Halong Bay across the Red River Delta, passing through emerald rice paddies. Once on the water, you'll cruise around the limestone rocks and karst grottoes. Seafood lunch is served on the boat, and you'll visit the famous limestone cave with options to kayak or swim closer to floating villages and shops. Back on the boat, you'll have an early dinner with leisure time to relax or try optional activities.

Halong Bay Cruise Return to Hanoi
Get up early if you want to join an optional Tai Chi lesson, or simply have a hearty breakfast on the boat. You'll sail to the limestone cave filled with stalagmites and stalactites before heading back to the main harbor. Return to Hanoi around 17:00 with the rest of the day to yourself.

Hanoi to Hoi An
Have breakfast at the hotel and you'll have leisure time until your private taxi picks you up for the airport. Fly to Hoi An and check into your accommodation when you arrive.

- Day 9
Hoi An
Spend time checking out Hoi An's custom tailoring shops (there are over 400 of them). If interested, you can get a suit made in a day or shoes and handbags in about 4 hours. In the afternoon, grab a Banh Mi sandwich from the well-known Madam Khanh's stand and continue exploring the city. After dark, visit the lantern market to watch traditional paper lanterns being made, then catch the free traditional Vietnamese folk performance at 9-10 pm on Nguyen Thai Hoc street. End your evening by lighting a candle and setting it in the water.

Hoi An
You'll have the day to wander Hoi An at your own pace, discovering the ancient town's Japanese merchant houses, pagodas, temples, and old warehouses. Or you could relax in a riverside cafe on the Thu Bon River. There's an optional eco-tour with an English-speaking guide exploring the countryside and rivers where you'll see local fishermen doing traditional net fishing and paddle through coconut palm waterways in unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats. Afternoon is free time in town or at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Check into your hotel and you'll have leisure time to rest and settle in after your travels.

- Day 12
Mekong Delta Tour
Pick up happens at 07:20 for breakfast, then you'll head to the Mekong Delta and travel to My Tho on the left bank of the Mekong River. Board a sampan to cruise around the four Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands. You'll walk around Unicorn Island's country lanes, see orchards, taste tropical fruits and hear folk music from locals, then visit a fruit plantation. Next you'll ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal, stopping at a family business, honey-bee farm, and coconut candy workshop. Lunch is at a local restaurant, then cycle through Tan Thach village to experience daily delta life (or relax in a hammock instead). Return to Ho Chi Minh around 17:30.

Cu Chi Tunnels
Depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, which is about 1.5 hours driving. When you arrive, watch a video about tunnel construction and how people survived during the war. You'll explore the tunnel systems including living areas with kitchens and bedrooms, plus martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. See hidden trap doors and dangerous traps used for wartime security. Afterwards you'll try special tea and cassava (food from the war era), then have break time for relaxation or optional gun shooting. Return to Ho Chi Minh City after.
