Phnom Penh
You'll arrive in Phnom Penh and connect with your private guide, who takes you to your hotel to settle in. The afternoon is filled with the city's key sites, starting at the National Museum before heading to the Royal Palace, which dates back to 1866. You'll also visit the Killing Fields and Choeung Ek memorial, so plan for a reflective and historically significant day.

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
After a domestic flight to Siem Reap with your guide, you'll check in and head straight into exploring. Angkor Thom comes first, followed by Angkor Wat where the intricate Khmer stone carvings showcase incredible detail. Later in the day, you'll climb to Phnom Bakheng hilltop temple to catch the sunset, which wraps up a full introduction to the temple complex.

Siem Reap
Starting after breakfast, you'll spend the full day moving through multiple temple sites around Angkor. The morning includes Prasat Kravan, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan. After lunch, you'll see Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Chaosay Tevoda, and Thomanon. The day finishes at Ta Prohm, where jungle vegetation has reclaimed much of the structure, creating that overgrown, atmospheric quality.

Siem Reap to Vientiane
You'll fly to Vientiane, Laos's capital known as the city of the moon. In the afternoon, a sightseeing tour covers the city's main historical monuments and religious sites. You'll walk through Wat Sisaket and Wat Ho Prakeo, where the Emerald Buddha was once housed, plus visit Luang Stupa, which holds major significance as Laos's most important religious monument.

Vientiane to Luang Prabang
A flight takes you to Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of Lane Xang kingdom and religious center. Now recognized as a World Heritage City, you'll explore multiple temples throughout town and surrounding areas, where about fifty temples still stand. Your guide will take you to the National Museum, former Royal Palace, Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Xiengthong among others.

- Day 6
Luang Prabang
You'll board a long-tailed boat for a few hours traveling down the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, which sit within a limestone cliff where two rivers meet. After exploring the caves, you'll stop at Ban Xanghai village to see traditional rice production methods. Lunch happens at a local riverside restaurant, and on the return to Luang Prabang, you'll visit Ban Xangkhong to see paper making and naturally dyed silk weavings.

Your driver takes you roughly 30 kilometers to Kuangsi Waterfall. Along the way, you'll stop at Ban Na Oune, a small H'mong village, and Ban Tha Pane where Khmu people live. You'll have a picnic lunch near the waterfall before heading back to Luang Prabang.
