- Day 1
Belgrade
You'll arrive in Belgrade and head to your hotel to check in. After you get settled, there's free time to rest and adjust. At 7pm, meet up with your guide for an orientation session covering what's ahead on the tour.
- Day 2
Belgrade
After breakfast, start with a guided tour through Belgrade's history. You'll see the Museum of Yugoslav History focused on Tito, pass by FC Red Star stadium, and check out the Temple of Saint Sava along with Slavija Square, Saint Mark's Church, and the Serbian National Parliament. Later, walk through the White Palace and down Knez Mihailo Street before heading to Kalemegdan Park and the fortress with its views over both the Danube and Sava rivers.

Sremski Karlovci - Novi Sad - Belgrade
Travel north into Vojvodina province to see 17 Serbian Orthodox monasteries. Start at Krusedol Monastery where monks make wine and rakija. Next is Sremski Karlovci with its Baroque architecture, Patriarchal Court, and Orthodox Cathedral. You'll do wine tasting at a local winery and have lunch by the Danube. Then head to Novi Sad to see City Hall, churches, Mileva Einstein's former house, and Petrovaradin fortress before returning to Belgrade by evening.

Timisoara - Sibiu
Cross into Romania heading to Timisoara, called 'Little Vienna' for its architecture and culture. Walk through Unirii Square with medieval buildings and the Catholic Cathedral of Saint George. See Liberty Square, Victory Square with the opera house and theatre, plus the 15th-century Huniade Castle. Later, reach Sibiu for an evening tour of this former 12th-century German settlement, visiting the Large Square, Brukenthal Museum, Small Square, Council Tower, Bridge of Lies, and the Orthodox Cathedral.

Sighisoara - Brasov
Leave Sibiu for Sighisoara, birthplace of Vlad III. You'll explore the Dominican Monastery Church, Clock Tower, Saint Joseph's Church, Tailors' Tower, and the Covered Stairway. Continue to Brasov, founded 13th century by the Teutonic Knights. Wander medieval streets to Piata Sfatului, the House of Council, walk down one of the narrowest streets to the Black Church, and find Catherine's Gate, the only surviving medieval entrance.

Bucharest
Head to Bucharest with stops at two castles. First, Bran Castle, famous as Dracula's Castle and a former royal residence built in the 13th century on a 60-meter cliff. Then visit Peles Castle in Sinaia, a Neo-Renaissance summer home built by King Carol I with elaborate turrets and over 160 rooms featuring hand-painted stained glass. Arrive in Bucharest for the night.

- Day 7
Bucharest
Take a guided tour of Bucharest, known as 'Little Paris' in the 1900s for its tree-lined boulevards and Belle Epoque buildings mixing French, Byzantine, and communist architecture. Visit Piata Unirii for views of the Palace of the Parliament, walk through the medieval Old Town with the Old Princely Court and Stavropoleos Monastery, and stroll Lipscani Street. Veliko Tarnovo
Cross into Bulgaria to see the Rock-Hewn Churches of Ivanovo, a UNESCO site carved by hermits in the 12th century with 14th-century murals by Bulgarian artists. Make a photo stop in the village of Arbanasi, an open-air museum with Ottoman-era houses and five churches. Continue to Veliko Tarnovo, capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, where you'll wander cobblestone streets and see architectural masterpieces.

Nis - Belgrade
Drive back into eastern Serbia to Nis, birthplace of Roman Emperor Constantine the Great. Tour the Mediana archaeological park and see the Skull Tower, made from 952 human skulls, a haunting historical site. Visit Nis Fortress, a Turkish military construction on the Nisava River banks. Spend free time in Tinkers Alley exploring the old market. Then continue to Belgrade for the evening, which is free.

Head west from Belgrade toward Ovcar-Kablar Gorge and into Tara National Park. Visit Drvengrad (Wooden Town), built by filmmaker Emir Kusturica from natural materials. Reach Zlatibor Mountain, Serbia's first royal resort, and walk through town. Dinner features traditional Serbian food.

Cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina reaching Visegrad to see Andricgrad (Stone Town), built by filmmaker Emir Kusturica. Stop for lunch at Zlatna Moruna restaurant decorated with frescoes. Continue to Sarajevo for an evening tour visiting Vijecnica (City Hall), Bascarsija (old downtown), the Gazi Husrev-bey mosque, and the Latin Bridge where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in 1914. Also see the Orthodox Church, Sahat Tower, the Bezistan market, and various religious sites.
