Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Essaouira
You'll arrive in Essaouira around 11 am and head straight into the historic medina to get a feel for the place. The Portuguese fortress is worth the walk up for those ocean views, and from there you can wander through the souks where you'll find local crafts and spices. By lunchtime, grab some fresh seafood at one of the local spots near the water. After eating, spend some time relaxing on the beach to decompress a bit. Later you'll check out the fishing port to see the boats and activity, then walk through the Jewish Quarter which has its own character and history. Before heading back to Marrakech at 5 pm, pop into some local art galleries and take a café break to wind down from the day.
