Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll land at Hanoi airport and get picked up for transfer to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city or just relax after your flight. This gives you time to get oriented without a packed schedule before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Tam Coc
This full day trip heads south from Hanoi to Hoa Lu, where you'll see the historic temples built for 10th-century kings. Then you cycle through the rural countryside and bike out to Bich Dong Pagoda. After that, you'll take a boat along the Ngo Dong River through Tam Coc, which locals call 'Halong Bay on Land' because of its tall limestone formations. Transportation from your Old Quarter hotel is included for the whole day.

- Day 3
Hanoi to Halong Bay
Drive about 3 hours to Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf and board your cruise ship. Get settled in your cabin and grab a welcome drink and lunch while you start cruising. Later you'll stop at Titop Island for swimming and a short trek up the hillside. Then swing by Pearl Farm Village where you can swim again or try kayaking. Back on the cruise, you'll learn to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes in a cooking class, then have tea time up on the sundeck.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Hanoi
This morning starts with Tai Chi on deck at 6:00 AM if you're interested, followed by a light breakfast. As you cruise through Halong Bay, you'll head into Surprise Cave, one of the larger caves in the area. After exploring, you'll check out of your cabin and have brunch on your way back to the wharf. Take care of bills and other details before the ship docks and you head back to Hanoi.

Hanoi Departure
You have the morning free to walk around Hanoi on your own or just hang out at the hotel if you prefer. Your guide will meet you later to take you to the airport for your flight home.
