Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival to Brighton
You'll arrive and transfer to the Brighton region for a 2-night stay. The drive takes around 120 km from London-Heathrow or 160 km from Dover ferry port, depending on where you're coming from.

- Day 2
Brighton
This day focuses on Sussex's film locations. You can head to Beachy Head where Harry Potter's Quidditch World Cup was filmed, then check out the Seven Sisters for the Portkey scene. In Brighton itself, ride the i360 observation tower for views across the coast, see the Royal Pavilion, walk along Brighton Pier, or visit the Toy and Model Museum or Booth Museum of Natural History if you have time.

Sussex to Salisbury
You'll drive along the south coast and stop at Arundel Castle, which appeared in Wonder Woman and Doctor Who. There's an optional visit to Old Sarum, an ancient Iron Age hill fort with 5,000 years of history. The main event is Stonehenge with its prehistoric stone circles. You'll arrive in the Salisbury region by evening for a 2-night stay.

Salisbury and Avebury
Start in medieval Salisbury and see its Gothic cathedral with a 123-metre high crossing tower and an original Magna Carta copy. You can optionally visit Wilton House, used in Bridgerton and The Crown. Later, head to Avebury to explore the 4,500-year-old stone circles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its own mystical atmosphere.

- Day 5
Exeter
You'll head out to New Forest National Park for walking and fresh air around ancient monuments. The route takes you to see the Giant of Cerne Abbas, a 55-meter figure carved into the hillside. From there, continue to medieval Exeter where you can visit the Norman castle and the cathedral, which is quite impressive. You'll settle in for two nights in the Exeter region, so there's time to explore the area at a comfortable pace.

Dartmoor National Park is your focus today. The landscape has unusual rock formations, heath and moorland, and a mysterious feel. You'll see evidence of prehistory including burial chambers and stone circle remains. Expect dramatic scenery with low-hanging mists and various myths and legends tied to the area.

Bodmin Moor to Newquay
You'll see Hurler's Stone Circle, a group of 3 stone circles on Bodmin Moor. Then head to Hollywell Bay near Newquay, a filming location for Poldark, House of the Dragon, and James Bond films. You can also explore Fistral Beach, which appeared in Rosamunde Pilcher productions. You'll stay three nights in the Newquay/Truro region.

Southwest Coast: St. Ives to Land's End
You'll journey to the southwest coast starting with St. Ives, known as 'Porthkerris' from Rosamunde Pilcher films. Visit Levant Mine and Botallack Mine, both Poldark filming locations with museum and underground tours available. Continue to Land's End, the UK's most south-westerly point. There's an optional stop at Aardman Presents with Shaun the Sheep and Wallace and Gromit sets. Explore prehistoric stone circles and burial chambers around Penzance, visit St. Michael's Mount monastery, and have a traditional cream tea.

You'll visit Tintagel Castle ruins, the legendary home of King Arthur, positioned dramatically on the cliffs. The castle was a filming location for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, If You Were King, and the horror film Dracula.

North Coast to Bristol
Stop in the morning at Clovelly, a car-free village from The Salt Trail. Pass through Ilfracombe (also from The Salt Trail) and travel through Exmoor National Park with its coastal heathland. There's an optional stop at Glastonbury, legendary home of King Arthur, to explore the burial site and Glastonbury Tor. You'll arrive in Bristol by evening, where the Doctor Who 60th anniversary special was filmed. You can optionally visit the University of Bristol Botanic Garden. Stay two nights in the Bristol region.

You'll explore Bath, one of southern England's nicest cities. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Roman Baths with their hot springs and architectural treasures like the Royal Crescent. Bath features in the Bridgerton series with special guided tours available. You can see filming locations from Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Wonka, Les Misérables, McDonald & Dodds, and Jane Austen adaptations. Continue to Wells to see its impressive cathedral and charming market square with 15th-17th century architecture, then return to your hotel.

Departure
This is your departure day heading back to London. If you have some time available, consider making a stop in Wallingford, the historic town used as the setting for the TV series Inspector Barnaby (Midsomer Murders). You can walk through the market square and see Wallingford Bridge, both featured in the show. The Wallingford Museum is worth a visit too, where you'll find a bronze statue commemorating Agatha Christie, who lived in Winterbrook House from 1934 to 1976.
