Itinerary
- Day 1
Muscat
You'll arrive in Muscat and get transferred to your hotel. Depending on when you land, you can either catch a sunset dhow cruise or take a walk through the shopping district. You're staying for 2 nights here, so you'll have time to settle in.

- Day 2
Muscat
After breakfast, your guide meets you and you'll head to the Grand Mosque and National Museum to learn about Oman's past. From there, you'll drive along the riverside to the fish market and then into the Muttrah district where the souq spreads out with colors and goods everywhere. You'll stop at Al Alam Palace (great photo spot with those two Portuguese forts on either side), and then the afternoon is yours to wander around however you like.

- Day 3
Muscat to Nizwa
Start your morning at Amouage, where they create some of the world's priciest perfumes. Next you'll head to Nakhl oasis to walk through date palms and see how the Falaj irrigation system works. The Nakhl Fort is next on the route. By afternoon you'll reach Nizwa for a 2-night stay.

- Day 4
Nizwa
In Nizwa, you'll check out the Round Tower Fort with all its detailed decoration, then browse the famous market known for curved daggers and silver pieces. After that, you stop at Bahla Fort (the biggest clay fort in the country). Later you'll walk through the 17th century Jabrin Fortress, a former palace that's been restored to show what medieval Oman was like. By evening you're in the village of Al Hamra visiting Bait Safah Museum to see traditional Omani life firsthand.

- Day 5
Nizwa to Wahiba Sands
An off-road vehicle picks you up and takes you to Birkat Al Mauz oasis town. You'll walk through plantations and learn how the Falaj irrigation system works. Then comes the drive up to Jabal Akhdar (over 2000 meters high) for views down into canyons and terraced fields. You'll pass villages known for rose water production before heading into the Wahiba Sands desert where dunes reach 200 meters and the sand has a striking yellow-red color. You stay at a comfortable desert resort and get to see the night sky full of stars.

- Day 6
Wahiba Sands to Muscat
After breakfast you leave the desert and drive to Sur, a white seafaring town where you can watch workers build wooden dhow boats the traditional way. On the way back toward Muscat, you'll see the Bimah Sinkhole (an impressive limestone crater). Then an off-road route through Wadi Arbayeen takes you past refreshing pools surrounded by palms. You arrive back in Muscat in the afternoon for your last night.

- Day 7
Muscat Departure
You can check out at noon but still use the hotel's amenities until evening if you want. From there, arrange your transfer to the airport or head to a different hotel if you've booked an extension in Muscat. That wraps up the round trip.
