Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Dominica
You'll arrive at Roseau port or the airport and pick up your rental car for the next few days. The drive to Marigot takes about 50 km from the port or just 10 km if you're coming from the airport. You'll be staying at the Hibiscus Valley Inn for three nights, so settle in and get oriented with the area.

North Dominica Tour
Head north to Pointe Baptiste Chocolate Factory, a family-run operation focused on sustainable practices where you'll taste different chocolate varieties including milk, dark, and spiced options along with truffles and cocoa nibs. Learn how they process chocolate from bean to bar. After that, you'll drive to Red Rocks, which formed from volcanic activity, then move through the fishing village of Calibishie with its cliffs and palm-lined beaches. Dominica's only coral reef is nearby if you want to check it out. The route also takes you through Hampstead Estate, a former lime plantation, before reaching Batibou Beach. The whole loop covers about 50 km.

- Day 3
Central and East Coast Dominica
Start the day visiting Spanny Falls and Jacko Falls, with Zen Gardens as an optional detour along the way. Continue to Emerald Pool where you can swim in the water at the base of the waterfall surrounded by vegetation. Then head to Rosalie on the east coast and the village of Kalinagi Barana Aute to learn about Kalinago indigenous traditions and culture. You'll hike to Salybia church and watch cassava bread being made, then have a typical lunch before walking back along Horseback ridge for views across the landscape. The drive back to your hotel in Marigot is about 120 km total.

Roseau to Soufrière
Drive through the hilly interior and along the west coast heading south toward Soufriere. Once you arrive, visit the historic Catholic church. Your new accommodation sits in the countryside with sea views, so you'll have a peaceful setting for the next part of your stay. The drive from Marigot is approximately 55 km.

West Coast and Northern Dominica
Explore the west coast of Dominica by driving north through small coastal villages. You can head to Indian River, which you might recognize from Pirates of the Caribbean films, and take a boat tour through the mangrove forest ecosystem. From there, continue to Portsmouth to check out the city, then visit Cabrits National Park which has tropical forests, coral reefs, and wetlands. This full day covers about 120 km.

South Coast and Champagne Bay
Head south to Scotts Head and climb to the top of the peninsula for views where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. Driving north, you'll pass through coastal villages including New Town, Citronier, Loubiere, and Pointe Michel on the way to Champagne Bay. Once there, snorkel at one of Dominica's popular diving spots known for volcanic air bubbles rising from underground fumaroles. The total distance is about 20 km.

Waterfalls and Gorge Exploration
You can visit the most popular waterfalls in Dominica and check out the botanical garden while exploring the lush areas around Roseau with panoramic views. From Laudat, take a short walk to Titou Gorge, which formed thousands of years ago and has a waterfall inside the mountain. You'll swim a short distance with life jackets available and rest on rocky areas. Continue to Trafalgar Falls where water drops 65 meters. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, or alternatively take a guided tour to Boiling Lake, the second largest in the world, and cross Valley of Desolation with its sulphur fumaroles.

Departure
After breakfast, return your rental car to the rental company office at Roseau port or the airport. If you're heading to the port it's about 20 km away, or if you're going to the airport it's approximately 60 km from your hotel.
