Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
You'll get picked up from your Bangkok hotel early and head to Kanchanaburi. Start by checking out the Thailand-Burma Railway Center museum to understand the area's history. From there, you'll visit the Allied War Cemetery, then walk over to see the Bridge over the River Kwai, which you've probably heard about. After grabbing lunch, there's time to walk around Hellfire Pass Memorial. Later in the afternoon, a longtail boat takes you out on the river to your floating hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Kanchanaburi
Following breakfast, you'll take a longtail boat to a Mon village where locals show you how they live and work. The Golden Rock cave has a Buddha image that's worth seeing. You'll try putting on a sarong, play some traditional Mon games, and watch how Tanaka powder gets made from natural materials. Then there's a jungle walk along the riverbank that leads to a viewpoint with nice views. Back at the hotel, spend some time at the Orchid and Palm Garden before evening.

Kanchanaburi to Bangkok
You have a leisurely breakfast and free time to relax at your floating hotel before checkout. After lunch at a local spot, you'll board a historic train on the 'Death Railway' for a scenic journey through the landscape, crossing wooden viaducts that prisoners of war built years ago. The train ride covers some impressive territory. You'll arrive back in Bangkok around 6 pm and get transferred to your city hotel.
