Itinerary
- Day 1
California Coast to Carmel
Start heading north from Santa Barbara and you'll begin with the Spanish Mission there. After that, you'll drive to the small Danish village of Solvang where there's time for shopping and walking around. The drive along Route 1 after Solvang gives you those coastal views you've probably heard about. You'll stop in Carmel and have free time to explore the town before checking into your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
San Francisco
Your San Francisco day kicks off at Fisherman's Wharf with a bay cruise that takes you past the Golden Gate Bridge and by Alcatraz Island. Back at Pier 39, grab lunch and spend some time there. In the afternoon, an organized tour hits the main spots, so you'll see Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill. Before heading to the hotel, you'll get panoramic views crossing the Bay Bridge.

San Francisco to Yosemite National Park
You'll travel east through the farmlands of Joaquin Valley to reach Yosemite. Once there, you'll see El Capitan, Bridal-Veil Falls, and Half Dome. From the Visitor Center, there's a walk out to Yosemite Falls, which is one of North America's highest at 2,395 feet. The park itself covers 1,200 square miles with forests, lakes, and water features throughout. After spending time here, you'll head to Stevenson Ranch for the night.

- Day 4
Yosemite to Las Vegas
The drive east takes you through desert and Death Valley on the way to Las Vegas. You'll stop at the Barstow outlet mall for lunch where there are major brand stores to browse. Once in Las Vegas for the evening, you'll tour the Strip and see Caesar's Palace, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, and Treasure Island. You can catch a show or try the casinos to finish off the night.

Las Vegas and Hoover Dam
After breakfast, you'll head out to the Hoover Dam and get an explanation of how it was constructed and what it means for the region. Then you return to Las Vegas with the afternoon free, so you can check out whatever interests you most, whether that's a show, exploring different attractions around the city, or just relaxing back at the hotel.

Las Vegas to Sedona to Page
You'll cross the Mojave Desert and up the Colorado Plateau, traveling on historic Route 66 to Sedona. Oak Creek Canyon drops about 2,000 feet as you drive down to the valley floor, and you'll stop for photos at the overlook and at Slide Rock State Park. Lunch happens in Sedona where there are Indian arts and crafts stores, boutiques, and galleries to browse. You'll visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross using the self-guided shuttle and see views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock before driving to Page for the night.

- Day 7
Page to Monument Valley
You'll start at Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River, which is a remarkable spot in this area. From there, you head to Monument Valley, one of the most photographed places in the American West. A Navajo guide will lead your jeep tour through the valley where sandstone formations tower 400 to 1,000 feet high. You'll see mesas, buttes, and vegetation while learning why the Navajo consider this land truly unique.

Monument Valley to Lower Antelope Canyon to Las Vegas
You start at a place where 'the water runs through the rocks' according to Navajo stories. You'll tour Lower Antelope Canyon and see the dunes created over time by wind and water. After that, you make your way back toward Las Vegas with a lunch break along the way. Before reaching Las Vegas, you'll stop at Valley of Fire, known for its red sandstone formations that sometimes look like they're on fire when the sun hits them right. You'll arrive in Las Vegas for the evening.
