Lisbon
You'll arrive in Lisbon and transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay. Get settled into your room and have some time to rest before dinner. This gives you a chance to adjust to the local time and prepare for the guided activities starting tomorrow.

Lisbon
A guided tour takes you through Lisbon's city centre where you'll see the yellow trams moving through tree-lined boulevards. Afterward, head to Jerónimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site with late Gothic Manueline architecture that's really worth spending time with. The stonework and details are quite something when you see them up close.

Lisbon
This day is yours to wander Lisbon's cobbled alleyways and check out the ancient ruins at your own pace. You'll see Pombaline architecture throughout the city, built after the Great Lisbon Earthquake. Your tour director is around if you want tips on where to go or suggestions for lunch spots.

- Day 4
Lisbon to Porto
You'll travel north along the Atlantic coast, stopping in the medieval town of Óbidos and then Nazaré, known for its massive waves and fishing traditions. Later, board your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship in Porto and settle in for dinner on board. It's a good chance to meet the crew and other passengers.

- Day 5
Douro Valley
Relax on board as you sail through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Douro Valley, with vineyards and small villages on both sides. The scenery is worth just sitting on the deck with a coffee or local wine. Tonight there's a welcome dinner and cocktail reception to help everyone get to know each other.

Douro Valley
Start your morning at Quinta do Tedo, an 18th-century estate producing organic wine using traditional methods. You can choose between a guided vineyard walk or a kayak excursion on the river. In the afternoon, the ship sails to Vega de Terrón, giving you time to relax before dinner.

Salamanca, Spain
Travel to Salamanca, the Golden City, and take a walking tour exploring the Plaza Mayor with its galleries and arcades. You'll see Casa de las Conchas, decorated with over 300 shells, and the university dating back to 1218. There's also a tuna music band performance later in the day.

Castelo Rodrigo
After docking at Pocinho, head to the medieval town of Castelo Rodrigo to explore the fortress and check out local products. Return to the ship for lunch, then join a Port wine cocktail lesson while sailing toward Régua. It's a relaxed afternoon getting hands-on with the local drink.

Lamego
Visit the Baroque village of Lamego and the Shrine of Our Lady of Remedies overlooking the town. If you're up for it, walk down 686 steps from the Sanctuary to the main square. Later, have a rural lunch at Quinta da Pacheca where you'll learn about Portuguese mosaic painting and local traditions.

Explore Porto at the mouth of the Douro River, where modern and ancient architecture mix throughout the city. Check out the fortified structures of Castelo da Foz and Castelo do Queijo. Depending on what you want, there's a guided tour, an optional river cruise, or an active walk through the vibrant neighborhoods.
