- Day 1
Munich to Regensburg
You'll arrive in Munich and travel to Regensburg, where your Danube River cruise officially starts. The ship is a Scenic Space-Ship, and you'll settle in this 2,000-year-old medieval city. This evening there's a welcome reception aboard to kick things off.

Regensburg
A local guide leads you on a walking tour through Regensburg, sharing details about regional customs and traditions. You'll see the old stone bridge, Church of St James, and Porta Praetoria. After that, the Christmas Markets are open if you want to wander around and grab something to eat or drink.

Scenic Freechoice Day
You get off the ship in Passau this morning and pick one of three full-day excursions. There's a guided tour to Salzburg covering Mozart's birthplace and Hohensalzburg Fortress, or head to the medieval UNESCO town of Cesky Krumlov by the river, or stay local for a walking tour of Passau including St Stephen's Cathedral and its famous organ.

Durnstein
The ship docks early in Melk, and you'll choose between touring the 18th-century Benedictine Abbey or taking an e-bike through the vineyards to Durnstein. Later this afternoon, there's free time in Durnstein with its riverside vineyards all around. A local producer visits to share schnapps and regional foods with you.

You arrive in Vienna during the Christmas season, and the Ringstrasse is lit up beautifully. Freechoice activities let you tour Schönbrunn Palace and its markets, e-bike to Danube Island, visit the Belvedere Museum, or explore central Vienna with a guide. Tonight there's an exclusive private classical concert at Palais Liechtenstein with Strauss and Mozart.

Prague
A local expert guides you through Prague's Gothic Old Town on foot, walking through cobblestone streets and past medieval buildings. You'll stop at Old Town Hall to hear the 14th-century Astronomical Clock with its 12 Apostles procession. The rest of the day is yours to wander this riverside city.
