Your river cruise starts at 2:30 PM when you board the DCS Amethyst. After finding your cabin and getting settled, you'll head to the welcome snack buffer and grab a welcome cocktail to kick things off.

River Cruise

Budapest
The ship arrives in Budapest and you've got several options for how to spend your time. You can take a guided tour of the city, or if you're interested in culture and food, there's a Puszta excursion with a strudel show and folklore performance. The ship also has entertainment and meals available throughout the day, and you can explore Budapest's nightlife if that interests you.

This day gives you two main choices. One option is a food market tour where you'll taste local Unicum, or you can visit the charming towns of Esztergom and Szentendre, including a stop at a traditional marzipan confectionery. Excursion guests board back to the ship as the day moves along, and meals are served onboard.
