  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Shanghai

    You'll touch down in Shanghai and head through the airport arrival hall where your private guide will be waiting. From there, it's a private car transfer to your hotel, with your guide handling luggage and getting you checked in smoothly so you can settle in without hassle.

  2. Day 2

    Shanghai

    An hour's drive gets you to Zhujiajiao water town, where 1,700 years of history shows in the ancient architecture, old bridges, and scenic canals. After lunch at a local spot, you'll head back to Shanghai to choose between Yuyuan Garden or Jade Buddha Temple, then walk through the Bund to see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Tower. You'll go up Shanghai Tower's observatory for 360-degree city views before your guide takes you back to the hotel.

    Shanghai to Yichang

    The morning is yours to do what you like until your guide takes you to the high-speed train station. The train ride to Yichang takes a few hours, and once you arrive, your guide meets you for a private car transfer to Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal. You'll board your upstream cruise with a shuttle ride out to Maoping, where your Yangtze River journey officially begins.

    Your guide picks you up at 08:30 from the hotel lobby for a full-day trip to Dazu County, where rock carvings from the late Tang and early Song dynasties cover the landscape. You'll focus on Baodingshan's carvings at 527 meters elevation, exploring both Dafowan and Xiaofowan areas with approximately 10,000 Buddha statues carved into the 500-meter cliff's U-shaped formation. By evening, your guide returns you to Chongqing.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
