Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
Your guide will meet you at Luxor Airport, the railway station, or your hotel for transfer to the 5-star Nile cruise. After settling in with lunch on board, you'll head out to Karnak Temple, which spans about 63 acres and ranks as the largest temple structure ever built. From there, it's on to Luxor Temple where you can see layers of ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic architecture all in one place. Back to the cruise for dinner and your first night on the water.

- Day 2
West Bank to Edfu
Breakfast comes first, then you're driven to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis. The Valley of the Kings shows you pharaonic tombs from the New Kingdom era, and you'll stop at the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the towering Colossi of Memnon statues for photos. By noon you're back on the cruise for lunch. Later that afternoon, you'll sail down the Nile with tea on the sundeck, pass through Esna Lock, and dock overnight in Edfu.

- Day 3
Edfu to Kom Ombo to Aswan
Following breakfast, you'll take a horse carriage ride to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt's most well-preserved temple complexes. Back on the cruise, you have time to relax on deck while sailing toward Kom Ombo. Lunch happens on board with afternoon tea available on the sundeck. Late afternoon brings a visit to the double temple at Kom Ombo, dedicated to both Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god. You'll return for dinner, catch a folkloric show, and sail overnight toward Aswan.

- Day 4
Abu Simbel and Aswan
Pickup happens around 4:00-4:30 am for the Abu Simbel excursion, traveling by shared group bus or minibus. The drive takes roughly 3-4 hours to reach the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, built for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. You're back on the cruise around 2:00-2:30 pm for lunch, and the afternoon is free (there's an optional visit to a Nubian village if interested). Dinner on board is followed by a Nubian show before you settle in for the night in Aswan.

- Day 5
Aswan
After breakfast you check out and explore Aswan's main sights with your guide, who'll share details about the region's Nubian immigration history. The High Dam is first on the list, constructed in 1960 to control flooding and produce electricity for Egypt. Then you'll take a small motorboat to Philae Temple, a Greco-Roman structure dedicated to Goddess Isis. From there, your guide transfers you to your Aswan east bank hotel, airport, or railway station.
