Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Aswan
You'll get picked up from your Cairo or Giza hotel around 4:30 am for the drive to Cairo airport. Once you arrive in Aswan after your flight, a guide meets you and takes you to your 5-star Nile cruise. After you settle into your cabin, there's time to visit the High Dam and then take a motorboat out to Philae Temple. Back on the cruise for dinner, you'll catch a folkloric show in the evening.

Abu Simbel - Kom Ombo - Edfu
An early pickup around 4:00 to 4:30 am gets you on the road for a shared group trip heading to Abu Simbel. You'll see the rock-cut temples built for Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari, which are really something to see up close. By early afternoon you're back on the cruise for lunch, then the ship sails to Kom Ombo where you visit the dual temple honoring Sobek and Horus. You'll spend the night sailing toward Edfu.

- Day 3
Luxor
After breakfast, you'll take a horse carriage ride with your guide to the Edfu temple dedicated to Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Then it's back to the cruise where you can relax on deck and watch the Nile landscape pass by as you sail toward Luxor. You'll cross the Esna Lock during the journey, have lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck. Later you arrive in Luxor and visit Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Dinner and a belly dancing show happen on the cruise that evening.

- Day 4
Luxor to Cairo
After breakfast and checkout, you head to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs carved their tombs into the mountains. From there, you visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari to learn about her rule as a female pharaoh. You'll stop for photos at the giant Colossi of Memnon statues. There's an optional lunch at a local restaurant, then you visit Karnak temple, Egypt's largest temple complex. Finally, you transfer to Luxor Airport for your evening flight back to Cairo, where a driver meets you for your hotel transfer.
