Panama City
You'll land at Tocumen International Airport and meet your driver for the transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you can either relax or take a walk through Punta Pacifica, the modern business district along the coast. The area has luxury shops, restaurants, and nice views of the Pacific, so it's a good spot to get oriented or grab dinner if you arrive with time before evening.

San Blas Islands
The drive to the Caribbean coast takes about 2 hours, then you'll board a 40-minute boat to reach San Blas Islands. Once there, you'll settle into your island accommodation and take a guided tour through the Guna Yala Community to learn about their culture and traditions. You can browse handmade crafts from local artisans, and your guide will show you around the islands as you get familiar with the area.

Island options include Fragata, Perro, Diablo, Starfish, Chichime, and Perro Chico, and you can snorkel, swim, or just relax in a hammock on the beach depending on what appeals to you.

San Blas Islands to Panama City
You'll have a relaxed morning to arrange any last-minute activities or simply wander the islands. In the afternoon, you'll head back to the boat for the return journey to Panama City, arriving at your hotel with the evening free to rest or explore nearby.

Panama Canal Cruise
An early start gets you to Flamenco Marina between 6:30 and 7:30 am for the canal cruise. You'll sail through the Bridge of the Americas, Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks, plus the Centennial Bridge and Gaillard Cut. A bilingual guide explains the canal's engineering and history throughout the 6-hour journey, which includes breakfast and lunch on board. You'll finish at Gamboa before heading back to your hotel for the afternoon and evening free.

Panama City
Today covers Panama City's main sights across the day. Start with the 3.5-km Amador Causeway for a walk with views, passing the Bridge of the Americas along the way. Then head to Casco Viejo to see the Spanish colonial architecture in the historic quarter. At Miraflores Visitor Center, watch the 45-minute film about canal history, check out the museum, and watch ships move through the locks from the viewing platform. Finish at Panama Viejo, the ruins of the original Spanish colonial settlement that pirates destroyed years ago.
