Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Luxor
Your driver picks you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza around 6:30 PM and takes you to the train station. You'll board an overnight sleeper train heading to Luxor, which takes about 10 to 12 hours. Dinner and breakfast are included during the journey, so you can settle in and rest.

- Day 2
Luxor
Your guide meets you at Luxor railway station and transfers you to your 5-star Nile Cruise for check-in. After lunch on board, you'll head to Karnak Temple, the largest temple ever built covering about 63 acres and constructed over 2000 years. From there, explore Luxor Temple to see ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features, including its obelisk and statues. You'll return to the cruise for dinner and overnight.

- Day 3
Luxor West Bank
After breakfast, you're driven to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis, starting with the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs carved their tombs during the New Kingdom. Next comes the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. A photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon rounds out the morning, two 17-metre-high granite statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. You'll be back at the cruise by noon for lunch, then sail down the Nile with afternoon tea on the sundeck, crossing the Esna Lock before overnight in Edfu.

- Day 4
Edfu to Aswan
After breakfast, you'll take a horse carriage ride with your guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete Egyptian temple still standing. Back at the cruise, you can relax on deck watching the Nile landscape as you sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch happens on board along with afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late afternoon takes you to the double temple at Kom Ombo, dedicated to both Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god. You'll return for dinner, then enjoy a folkloric party hosted by cruise staff before sailing to Aswan for overnight.

- Day 5
Abu Simbel and Aswan
You'll check out around 4:00-4:30 AM and join a shared group bus trip to Abu Simbel to see one of Egypt's most impressive rock-cut temples built for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. After returning to the cruise around 2:30 PM to collect your luggage, you'll explore Aswan highlights with your guide, learning about Nubian heritage. Then you'll visit Philae Temple, a Graeco-Roman temple dedicated to goddess Isis, by small motorboat. Later you transfer to Aswan railway station to board your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.

Cairo Arrival
Upon arrival at Giza or Cairo train station, your driver will be waiting with a sign bearing your name to transfer you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Make sure to provide your hotel name and address in advance for the drop-off transfer.
