Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Giza to Aswan
Your guide picks you up from your Cairo or Giza hotel and you'll spend the day visiting pyramid sites around the city. You'll see the Great Pyramid of Cheops along with the pyramids of Chephren and Menkaure, then check out the Sphinx at the Valley Temple. After that, you head to Saqqara to see the Pyramid of Djoser, and then drive to Dahshur to visit the Red and Bent pyramids. There's an optional lunch break before heading to Cairo train station to catch the night sitting train to Aswan.

Aswan
You'll be met at Aswan railway station and transferred to your 5-star Nile cruise for check-in. After lunch on board, you take a trip to the High Dam, then travel by motorboat to the Graeco-Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Back on the cruise you'll have dinner and watch a folkloric show before settling in for the night.

Aswan to Edfu
Breakfast comes first on board, and then you have a free morning to relax on the deck. After lunch, the cruise heads to Kom Ombo where you visit the dual temple devoted to Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god. You return to the cruise for dinner, and the ship continues sailing to Edfu for the night.

Edfu to Luxor
Following breakfast, you take a horse carriage ride with your guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is one of the most intact Egyptian temples still standing. Back on the cruise you can relax on the deck while sailing toward Luxor and crossing the Esna Lock. Lunch and afternoon tea are served on the sundeck, then you transfer to visit Luxor Temple on the East Bank before returning for dinner and a belly dancing show.

Luxor to Cairo
After breakfast you check out and drive to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs built their tombs into the mountains. Next you visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and stop for photos at the Memnon statues. There's an optional lunch at a local restaurant, then you head to the East Bank to see Karnak Temple, the largest temple ever constructed. Finally, you transfer to Luxor railway station to catch the first class sitting train back to Cairo.
