The trips was what I went for and got. The ships staff were great and tried to make me comfortable especially Cathy, the ship's officer who bought me the daily cruise guide and took me through it. Although I spoke little to no Chinese only using my translator she spoke to me in English and helped me with everything I needed.

My wife and I were generally pleased with the total experience. There were a few hiccups but our main contact, Ben, was fast to respond to us. He was our lifeline!

Unfortunately one day less on the river than stated when booking. Good facilities; spacious, clean cabin. Spacious upper deck. Very good organization of the interesting excursions. The trip through the three gorges was really great, although the constant soundtrack from the commentator, who spoke only mediocre English, would have been dispensable. The food was varied and of excellent quality. Overall very good price/performance ratio

    Asked on June 2nd, 2024

I am interested in a Xian to Kashgar tour (or possibly the other way around) - but as part of a longer Silk Road journey into Tajiki/Kyrghyz/Uzbeki/Turmeni-stan. Is this something that some of your customers do? Can you offer any advice on this?

Most of people do two parts for the Silk Road, China section and central Asian section, therefore it won't be too long and tiring. A few travelers take a long tour from Beijing or Xi'an to central Asia, but it is a very long tour.
