Itinerary
- Day 1
Marsa Alam to Luxor
Hotel pickup happens at 7:30 am in Marsa Alam, then you're looking at a 4-5 hour drive to Luxor. Once you check into your 4-star hotel, there's time to kick back by the pool or rest up before the afternoon activities start. At 3:00 pm your guide meets you to head to Karnak Temple, which is the largest religious complex of its kind and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After that you'll see Luxor Temple with its impressive obelisks and statues, then return to the hotel for the evening.

- Day 2
Luxor West Bank and Banana Island
Breakfast at the hotel comes first, then an 8:00 am pickup for the drive to the West Bank. You'll spend time in the Valley of the Kings visiting 3 open tombs where pharaohs including Ramses II and Tutankhamun were buried. Next up is Hatshepsut Temple and the massive Colossi of Memnon statues. Then you head down to the Nile for a felucca boat ride out to Banana Island, where you can walk around and see banana, mango, and guava trees along with a pigeon tower and old irrigation wheel. Lunch happens at the island restaurant, and after sailing back you transfer to your Marsa Alam hotel.
