Rawalpindi - Taxila
You'll start the morning at a Truck Art Factory in Rawalpindi where artisans hand-paint intricate designs on trucks right in front of you. It's a pretty cool look at traditional craftsmanship in action. After grabbing lunch at a local Pakistani restaurant, head out to Taxila to check out the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Taxila Museum is the main stop there, and you'll see artifacts from the Gandhara civilization that give you real insight into the region's history. By late afternoon, make your way back to Islamabad.
