Arrival in Arusha
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha. If the weather cooperates, you might catch views of Kilimanjaro on the drive. Once you settle in, it's up to you whether you rest or arrange a city tour to start exploring.

Landmarks/POIs Mount Kilimanjaro - Day 2
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast and your safari briefing, you'll head out for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The route takes you through grassland plains dotted with ancient baobab trees and traditional Maasai villages. During the game drive, look for tree-climbing pythons, African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You'll have a picnic lunch midday, then continue searching for wildlife before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Tarangire National Park - Day 3
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
You'll travel through cooler highland areas toward southern Serengeti, arriving around midday. The park has different landscapes including short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes, with rocky outcrops called kopjes scattered throughout. This is where the famous yearly migration happens, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains. Settle into your lodge inside the park for the night.

- Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Today is all about game viewing across Serengeti National Park. Your guide will track down the migrating herds, which move between southern plains (November-December) and northern hills (April-June) depending on rainfall patterns. You'll likely see lions, leopards resting in acacia trees, cheetahs, and the massive herds of wildebeests and zebras. Locations change yearly based on weather, but your experienced guide knows where to find the best viewing spots. Another night at the lodge follows.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start early with breakfast, then drive 3 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll descend into a massive collapsed volcano crater that's home to over 25,000 mammals, including the Big Five and spotted hyenas plus rare wild dogs. Over 500 bird species live here too. After an extensive crater game drive and a picnic lunch, you'll leave in the afternoon and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, head out for a 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park. It's a great spot for photography and game viewing, known for tree-climbing lions that rest in acacia trees. Bird watchers will find plenty to see here with massive flamingo flocks, circling raptors, and bright lilac-breasted rollers. Later you'll drive back to Arusha for the night.
