Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
Your hotel or cruise picks you up at 8 am for a full day across Luxor's highlights. First stop is the West Bank where you'll walk through three tombs in the Valley of the Kings, each carved deep into the mountains by New Kingdom pharaohs. From there, you move to Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple, then pause at the Colossi of Memnon for photos before breaking for lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon takes you back to the East Bank to see Karnak Temple with its massive columns and obelisks, followed by a walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes. You'll also spend time at Luxor Temple before heading to the riverbank for a one-hour felucca sail on the Nile. The day winds down when your guide returns you to your hotel or cruise around evening.
