Itinerary
- Day 1
Giza Pyramids, Saqqara & Memphis
You'll start early in the morning heading to Giza, where you'll walk around the Pyramids and see the Sphinx up close. Your private Egyptologist guide will fill you in on the history and construction details as you make your way through the complex. After spending a couple hours there, you'll travel south to Saqqara to check out the Step Pyramid, which is actually older than the Giza monuments. This one's got a different structure and story, so your guide will explain what makes it significant. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Memphis, the ancient capital, where you can see temples and statues from that era. All the transportation between sites is handled, so you just focus on taking it all in.
