Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
Start early for a hot air balloon ride at sunrise over Luxor, floating above the ancient temples and mountains. Once you land, head to the Valley of the Kings to see the pharaonic tombs carved into the rock. From there, check out Hatshepsut Temple, which rises dramatically from the desert floor. After lunch, you'll board a traditional felucca sailboat on the Nile River. The boat takes you to Banana Island, where you can walk through the lush vegetation and have tea before sailing back to your hotel by evening.
