Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes
You'll land at Zagreb airport and pick up your rental car, then take some time to wander through the old town with its narrow streets lined with boutiques and local spots to eat. After that, it's a drive toward Plitvice Lakes National Park where you'll spend your first night.

Plitvice Lakes to Zadar
Plitvice Lakes National Park is on the agenda today. You'll walk along wooden footbridges through the 16 turquoise-blue lakes (it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site), seeing waterfalls and cascades connect the water. From there, you'll head toward the Dalmatia coast and check into the Zadar region for the night.

Zadar
Zadar gives you options depending on what you want to do. You could hike in Paklenica National Park, take a boat trip to Kornati National Park, explore Nin's salt pans, visit Sibenik and Krka Waterfalls, walk through Zadar's old town and see the Sea Organ, or just relax on the pebble and sandy beaches nearby.

Zadar to Brac
Drive along the coast toward Split today, stopping in Primosten for its beaches. Then you'll see Trogir's old town (it's UNESCO-listed), move through Split's narrow streets, and take the ferry to Brac island for an overnight stay.

Island Brac
Spend the day on Brac exploring the island and visiting Zlatni Rat, Croatia's most famous beach, known for its pebble shore and how it changes shape based on wind conditions. The limestone here was used in buildings like the White House. Later, wander through Bol town in the evening, checking out the stone houses and fish restaurants.

Island Brac to Cavtat
Ferry back to the mainland and drive toward Dubrovnik along the coast. Stop to swim on the Makarska Riviera beaches, then pass through the Neretva delta with its tangerine plantations. You'll see the oyster-farming region of Ston and its defensive wall before reaching Cavtat for the night.

Dubrovnik and Departure
Walk the famous city walls in Dubrovnik's old town, seeing churches, monasteries, palaces and historical sites throughout the UNESCO-listed area. Have a typical Croatian meal or drink at one of the local restaurants, or spend time on one of the beaches. When it's time to leave, return the rental car at Dubrovnik Airport for your flight.
