Itinerary

Day 1
Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
You'll leave Mombasa at 5:30 am and drive toward Tsavo East National Park, catching the sunrise along the way. Once you arrive, the morning game drive starts right away with chances to spot the big five (lion, black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, and leopard) plus various bird species throughout the park. Around midday, you'll stop at a park hotel for lunch and can take a swim to cool off. After lunch, there's an afternoon game drive before heading back to Mombasa and returning to your hotel by evening.

The early morning Nairobi game drive met my expectations. The driver was very knowledgeable and pointed out the animals in the park. He was very friendly and took our directions well to get a good photo the animals. We even got to see a rare daytime hunt of two lionesses. A spectacular morning.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Samson's Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Samson's Safaris will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Samson's Safaris" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
