MY TRIP TO THE MIGHTY 5 I COULD NOT ASK FOR BETTER! Our tour guide Charles, was the most organized, making sure we saw and experience all we could. Plus he was a great cook. Our days were planned out to a tee. I enjoyed meeting others. The tour was amazing something I will remember for the rest of my life.

The country is beautiful. The group was great. The food choices were monotonous and not especially healthy - fast food from grocery stores and tex mex. The tour guide, while excellent logistically, calm, pleasant and able to take care of our flat tire, his knowledge of the area and history, folklore and science of the area and is not up to the level of tour guides I'm used from other tour companies that use locals who live in the area we're touring. Hotel accommodations were ok.

Can you tell me about this trip? Best of the West Road Trip: California, Utah & Vegas Bright Lights. Do you place solo travelers with a roommate? Where do you stay (hotels, camping)? Do you fly into LA? What is the average age of the travelers and how many are on the trip? Do you hike or is it just visiting parks? Do you offer dietary restrictions accommodations?

Another note - this trip has a specific age requirement set by Hostelworld & G Adventures for travellers to be between the ages of 18-35 to participate. Accommodation will be varied throughout your adventure. We use a combination of hotels and hostels, but most of the nights on tour are spent camping in tents in public and private campgrounds. Multi-share accommodation, on a single-sex basis (typically 4-6 people per room), is common in the U.S. All camping equipment (with the exception of your sleeping bag and pillow) is supplied, including comfortable camp mattresses. The trip starts and ends in LA so this easy for booking roundtrip flights out of LAX. There will be tons of hiking opportunities on this trip and at least one chance in every National Park we visit on the tour. For dietary restrictions, we can accommodate all but strict Halal.
