Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha
A driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to Gran Melia Arusha for your first night. You'll have time to settle in, rest up, and prepare for the safari adventures starting tomorrow.
- Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari guide collects you in the morning and drives across the Maasai plains toward Tarangire National Park. From your open-roof jeep, you'll watch for elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffes throughout the day. Lions or leopards might appear if you're fortunate. Dinner and overnight stay happen at your lodge.

- Day 3
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you drive through highland terrain and rainforests in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where baboons, leopards, and elephants roam. The Ngorongoro Crater comes into view before you head to Serengeti National Park. You'll arrive by midday, do a full game drive, then return to your lodge for dinner.

Serengeti National Park
Your entire day focuses on game drives across Serengeti National Park. Migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest fill the plains alongside leopards, cheetahs, and lions. You might also spot impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos. Back at your lodge by evening, you'll have dinner and rest overnight.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you drive from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend onto the crater floor. Large groups of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species live here. This area gives you the best opportunity to see endangered black rhinos. You'll spend the afternoon exploring before heading back to your lodge for dinner.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater - Day 6
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you head to Lake Manyara National Park, located about 120km west of Arusha. The landscape shifts from open grasslands to woodlands filled with primates and baobab-dotted cliffs. Monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and elephants live here, and tree-climbing lions occasionally show up. The shallow soda lake holds thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species.

Lake Manyara to Zanzibar
A driver picks you up from your accommodation and takes you to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. You'll spend your first night in Stone Town where you can relax and take in views of the old city. Optional activities like a guided old town tour, spice tour, prison island visit, or Jozani Forest tour can be arranged.

Landmarks Stone Town - Days 8 - 11
Nungwi, Zanzibar
You transfer to Nungwi at your preferred time, a village about 50km north of Stone Town. Once a quiet fishing village, it's now a popular island destination. Spend your time relaxing on white sand beaches with turquoise Indian Ocean water. Nungwi is one of the few places where you can see both sunrise and sunset over the ocean.

Zanzibar Departure
Your final morning involves relaxing at the resort before heading to Zanzibar Airport at an appropriate time for your departure flight. You'll leave with memories of your Tanzania and Zanzibar adventure.
