Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll head into the Iraqw highlands, moving through mist-covered rainforests where baboons, leopards, or elephants might appear along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater comes into view before you reach Serengeti National Park by midday. From there, a game drive takes you across varied landscapes throughout the afternoon. You'll settle in at your accommodation for dinner and spend the night.

Serengeti National Park
Game drives fill your entire day across Serengeti's different terrain. You'll look for impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, and keep an eye out for the migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest that move based on seasonal rains. Predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions also roam these areas. Back at camp by evening, you'll have time to relax before dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you'll drive from Serengeti toward Ngorongoro Crater, a striking landscape formed when a volcano collapsed millions of years ago. Descending into this wilderness, you'll see sweeping savannah, acacia woodland, lakes, and swamps spread across the crater floor. Wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle are common here, along with over 500 bird species. This location gives you your best shot at spotting the endangered black rhino in open grasslands.
