Itinerary
- Days 1 - 2Nairobi to Amboseli National ParkYou'll land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where your Classic Journeys Africa representative and driver guides meet you for introductions. After grabbing breakfast, you're heading to Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance. On the second day, you'll spend time game viewing across the park's vast plains, looking for cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and gazelles with Kilimanjaro as your backdrop throughout the day. - Meals

- Day 3Amboseli to Lake NaivashaFollowing breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Naivasha and check in with time for a late lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax at the lodge and take in the surroundings. If you're interested, there's an optional boat ride to Crescent Island Game Park (additional cost) where you can walk among the animals and get a 360-degree view of the lake from a hilltop vantage point. - Meals

- Day 4Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National ReserveAfter breakfast and getting briefed by your driver guide, you're driving to Masai Mara National Reserve, famous as the backdrop to the annual migration of over one million wildebeest. You'll arrive in time for lunch at camp, then head out for an afternoon safari. By evening you're back at camp for cocktails and dinner around the fire. - Meals

- Day 5Masai Mara National ReserveSpend the day on safari in what many consider Africa's richest wildlife viewing area. The Masai Mara hosts Kenya's largest lion prides and elephant herds, along with leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, hippos, Nile crocodiles, giraffes, gazelles, zebras, and over 550 bird species. Optional activities include a hot air balloon flight over the Mara with champagne breakfast (extra cost), visiting a Masai village to learn about their culture (extra cost), or taking a nature walk around camp to spot wildlife. - Meals

- Day 6Masai Mara to NairobiAfter breakfast you're leaving the Masai Mara and driving back to Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley. Along the way you'll pass the dormant volcano Mount Longonot and lakes Elementaita and Naivasha, keeping watch for giraffes and gazelles as the road climbs the escarpment. You'll reach Nairobi in the late afternoon with time for last-minute shopping (lunch is on your own) before heading to the airport for your departure flight. - Meals
