Itinerary
- Day 1
Aswan
Your guide will meet you at Aswan Airport, the railway station, or your East Bank Hotel to kick off the tour. First, you'll head to the High Dam, which was built back in 1960 to control flooding and produce electricity for Egypt. From there, a motorboat takes you out to Philae Temple, a Graeco-Roman structure dedicated to the goddess Isis. After checking into your cruise ship, lunch happens on board before you sail toward Kom Ombo. You'll visit the dual temple honoring both Sobek and Horus, then return for dinner on the cruise as it continues sailing overnight to Edfu.

- Day 2
Edfu to Luxor
Following breakfast, you'll take a horse carriage ride with your guide to see the Temple of Horus at Edfu, which happens to be the most well-preserved Egyptian temple from that era. Back on the cruise, you can relax on deck while watching the Nile landscape go by as you sail toward Luxor. The ship passes through the Esna Lock, and you'll have lunch on board plus afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, you transfer to the East Bank to visit Luxor Temple, where you'll see layers of ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic architecture all mixed together. You return to the cruise for dinner, and there's a belly dancing show before you head to bed for the night.

- Day 3
Luxor
After breakfast and checking out, you drive to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved tombs into the mountains to hide their treasure and protect their mummies. Next, you'll see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari to learn about her and her story with her nephew. There's a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, and lunch at a local restaurant (optional). You then head back to the East Bank to walk through Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever built, which took over 2000 years to construct and covers roughly 63 acres. Finally, you transfer to your hotel, airport, or railway station to finish the tour.
