Arrival in Diani Beach
After landing at Mombasa airport, you'll be greeted and driven to your hotel in Diani Beach. The transfer gives you time to settle in and shake off the travel before your safari adventures kick off.

Diani Beach
This is a beach day at your resort where you can just relax and get comfortable with the surroundings. Use the time to rest up and adjust before heading inland for the safari portions of your trip.

Diani Beach to Taita Hills
You'll head out early for the drive to Taita Hills Game Reserve and reach the lodge by lunchtime. After eating, you're off on your first game drive through the 110 square kilometer reserve where elephants, buffalo, giraffe, and big cats like lions and leopards roam. That evening at the lodge, you can watch wildlife come to the floodlit waterhole while you have dinner.

- Day 5
Taita Hills to Tsavo East
An early start means catching sunrise over the Taita Hills grasslands on your morning game drive. Back at the lodge for breakfast, then you'll drive toward Tsavo East with another game drive en route. Once there, an afternoon game drive lets you start exploring Tsavo East and spotting those famous red elephants plus lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other wildlife.

- Day 6
Tsavo East
You'll spend the full day driving through Tsavo East National Park. Watch for lion prides, cheetahs, waterbucks, giraffe, different gazelle species, elephant herds with calves, impalas, ostriches, and lots of bird species throughout the park.

- Day 7
Tsavo East to Diani Beach
An early morning game drive catches animals during their most active time as the sun comes up. After breakfast, you'll continue safari driving toward Buchuma Gate, then head along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway back toward the coast and arrive at your beach hotel by afternoon. You'll have time to cool off by the pool and take in the ocean.

Diani Beach
You'll spend the day reflecting on your safari experiences back at the beach. Later you get a cultural experience when you're a guest with a Kenyan family, cooking African dishes alongside the women and eating together while they share their traditions and way of life.
