Itinerary
- Day 1
Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik airport and catch a shuttle bus into Reykjavik. If there's time left in the day, you can walk around Iceland's capital on your own and get a feel for the city before your organized tour starts.

- Keflavik International Airport / Keflavíkurflugvöllur (KEF), Keflavíkurflugvelli, Sandgerði, Southern Peninsula Region 235, Iceland (Flybus PLUS shuttle transfer from Keflavík International Airport to your accomodation in Reykjavík. The Flybus departs from Keflavík Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight arrival. )

- Day 2
Reykjavik to Ísafjörður
Your guide meets you early in the morning and you head west into volcanic terrain and coastal fjords. You'll see Grábrók crater with views across the valley, stop for lunch in Búðardalur, then drive through the Ísafjörður fjords (keep an eye out for whales). The day wraps up at Litlibær turf house museum before reaching Ísafjörður, where you'll search for Northern Lights in the evening.

- Day 3
Ísafjörður
Start the day at Dynjandi waterfall with its multiple tiers dropping down the mountainside, then drive the fjord coastline to Öundarfjörður pier for mountain views. A family restaurant provides lunch, after which you'll walk through Ísafjörður's colorful houses and cobblestone streets. By evening, you're back searching for Northern Lights.

Ísafjörður
You'll visit the Ósvor Maritime Museum in its restored fishing hut to learn about 19th-century rowboat fishing and how isolated villages survived. Next you head to Flateyri village, where The Old Bookstore has been operating since 1914, and you'll hear about the 1995 avalanche that hit the area and see the protective fences built afterward. Northern Lights hunting happens again in the evening.

Ísafjörður to Vogur
Travel to Hólmavík and check out the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft with its collection of old grimoires and magical staves. From there you'll head to Vogur Country Lodge in remote West Iceland, which sits in a quiet spot good for watching the Northern Lights.

Vogur to Reykjavik
You head south back toward Reykjavik, first stopping at the Settlement Center in Borgarnes to learn how Iceland was first settled by humans. Later in Reykjavik, you'll check out Hallgrímskirkja church, the university area, walk through the colorful harbour with fishing boats, and see Harpa concert hall. The day finishes with fermented shark and a celebratory glass of Brennivín.
