Itinerary
- Day 1
Jinja to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari starts with an 8-9 hour drive northwest from Jinja to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you'll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos, then grab lunch in Masindi Town before heading on. Once you arrive at the park, you'll head up to see the falls where the Nile narrows dramatically into a 7-meter canyon, and it's quite a sight. After that, you'll settle into your lodge for the night.

Murchison Falls National Park
This morning starts early with a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile where you're likely to see elephants, lions, buffalo, and giraffes. Back at the lodge, you'll have breakfast and then take time to rest and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll head out on a boat cruise upstream on the Victoria Nile toward the base of the falls. The 19 km stretch gives you chances to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and various bird species, including the rare Shoebill stork.
