San José
You'll arrive in Costa Rica and get transferred to your hotel in San José. Later this evening, there's a welcome meeting where you'll connect with your CEO and fellow travelers, followed by dinner together at a nearby restaurant to kick things off.

Landmarks San José - Day 2
San José to Tortuguero
This morning you'll travel through Braulio Carrillo National Park heading toward the coast. From there, you'll take a minibus and boat to reach Tortuguero National Park, then paddle through the canals by kayak to spot tropical birds, reptiles and monkeys. You'll settle into the jungle lodge for the night.

- Day 3
Tortuguero
Get up early and head out on kayak through Tortuguero's waterways, paddling along canals to see Morpho butterflies and take in the forest sounds. You have a free afternoon to explore the nearby town or just relax. If you're interested, there's an optional evening visit to see green and leatherback turtles nesting on the beach.

Tortuguero to La Fortuna
You'll head inland by boat and bus, stopping at a G Adventures-supported coffee cooperative to see how coffee is harvested and processed. After that, there's a walk to a nearby waterfall before lunch. Then it's on toward La Fortuna, arriving in the late afternoon with your evening free to pick where you want to eat.

- Day 5
La Fortuna
Today you get to choose what you want to do: zip-line through the forest canopy or try canyoning with waterfall rappelling and pool swims. After lunch, you can either relax or head to Tabacón Resort with a day pass to use the thermal springs and waterfalls. Dinner happens at the resort that evening.

La Fortuna to Rio Celeste
Walk across hanging bridges high in the rainforest canopy, taking in the ecosystem from the treetops down to the forest floor. You'll have chances to spot toucans, hummingbirds and other wildlife. Later you'll head to Rio Celeste for lunch, then have a free afternoon for optional activities before dinner.

Volcán Tenorio National Park
Hike through rainforest trails in Volcán Tenorio National Park, watching for birds and other wildlife along the way. You'll reach the blue waterfall of Rio Celeste, which is the main event for the day. The afternoon is free for optional activities, and you'll gather together for a farewell dinner in the evening.
