- Day 1
Departure
You'll head to the airport and board your flight to Rio de Janeiro. This is where your South America adventure kicks off, so make sure you've got everything packed and you're ready for what's ahead.
- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
After you land in Rio, get settled into your accommodation. Then head over to Copacabana beach to get a feel for the place. You'll find the street life and energy there really gives you a sense of what Rio's all about.

Rio de Janeiro
Start with Sugar Loaf Mountain, where you'll take the gondola up for views across the city. From there, move on to Corcovado to see the Cristo statue. Later, check out the Catedral de São Sebastião with its impressive stained glass windows to cap off the day.

Rio de Janeiro
Spend time at Jardim Botânico, a UNESCO site that covers 140 hectares. You can walk through and spot monkeys, hummingbirds, and different plant species. Afterward, head to Santa Teresa to see the Escadaria Selarón and wander the colorful, artistic streets.

Rio de Janeiro to Manaus
Take a final morning in Rio before heading to the airport for your flight to Manaus. You'll arrive in this city surrounded by the Amazon rainforest. Check in, settle in, and prepare for the jungle activities coming next.

Manaus to Amazon Rainforest Lodge
A driver picks you up and takes you to the port where you'll board a boat heading down the Amazon River. As you travel, the city gradually fades into dense jungle. You'll arrive at the lodge, take a canoe out to spot wildlife, and later go on an evening boat tour looking for nocturnal creatures.

Amazon Rainforest
Put on your hiking boots for a guided jungle hike through the rainforest. Your guide will teach you about the ecosystem, the different plants and animals, and the indigenous communities that live in this region. It's an educational walk through a completely different world.

Amazon Rainforest
Start early with a jungle hike where you can take photos with the rainforest around you. Then visit a traditional indigenous village to see how people actually live there. By evening, relax in a hammock under the canopy and listen to the jungle sounds and campfire.

Amazon Rainforest to Manaus
Take a canoe trip through flooded forest areas and seasonal streams to see how the Amazon changes with the seasons. Head back to the lodge and then travel to Manaus. After a quick hotel break, you'll board your night flight to Recife.

Recife to Porto de Galinhas
You'll land in Recife and continue directly to Porto de Galinhas. Change into beach clothes and start your relaxation time. Spend the day on the white sand beach or by the pool, just taking in the sun and ocean sounds.

Porto de Galinhas
Today's about slowing down and enjoying the beach life. Walk barefoot along the shore, let yourself unwind, and watch the sunset. If you want some activity, you can take a boat cruise or hop between different beaches, but there's no pressure either way.

Porto de Galinhas
Another day at the beach to do what you like. You can swim or explore Porto de Galinhas town center (5 km away) where there are craft shops, bars, and cafes. Or if you want a change of scenery, head to Olinda, the colorful colonial city near Recife, for some history and good photo opportunities.

Departure from Porto de Galinhas
It's time to leave Brazil and head home. Think back on everything you've done, from the jungle hikes to the city exploration to the beach relaxation. Pack up and head to the airport for your flight back.

Your plane touches down and you're already thinking about telling everyone back home about your trip. Between the jungle, the beaches, the wildlife, and the cities you've seen, you'll have plenty of stories and photos to share from this South America journey.
